Curved walls, bulkheads and columns in plasterboard

Curved work is where a lining contractor is tested. The board has to be scored or a flexible board used, the stud set out to the radius, and the skim carried round without a flat spot. The film below was shot on site as the walls were being boarded; the bulkhead photographs are from a second house; the staircase, with its curved plastered balustrade, is the finished article on a third.

None of these photographs has a location or a date attached, by our own rule: the client has not yet said what may be published about each job.
