Curved walls, bulkheads and columns in plasterboard
Curved work is where a lining contractor is tested. The board has to be scored or a flexible board used, the stud set out to the radius, and the skim carried round without a flat spot. The film below was shot on site as the walls were being boarded; the bulkhead photographs are from a second house; the staircase, with its curved plastered balustrade, is the finished article on a third.
None of these photographs has a location or a date attached, by our own rule: the client has not yet said what may be published about each job.
This work is part of
Feature ceilings, media walls and curved plasterwork
Lit rafts, perimeter troughs, curved bulkheads and media walls, framed in the same metal stud as the rest of the house.

Send us the drawings.
